You would think out of all restaurants a Jamaican restaurant would cook the best oxtails out of any of them. NOPE! SUPER WROOONG! I am beyond disappointed with the food and quality, not worth the $70 I paid. I called my order in ahead of time and ordered 2 Oxtails dinners and Jerk Chicken. The container had a ton of rice with 2 small Oxtails joints. It also had a lot on bone with no meat and other cheap beef parts that were not oxtails. Don’t get it twisted, the oxtails was not dry, but it had very little seasoning and sauce. The rice was dry and the cabbage had no flavor at all; it tasted like cooked lettuce. The biggest disappointment was the Jerk Chicken. They gave me bones and the back part of the chicken thigh. Bones and sauce cost $20 by itself. If it didn’t live in 4 cities over I would have brought them their food back. The sauce tasted like BBQ sauce with a little jerk seasoning. Who puts jerk seasoning in their BBQ sauce but not on their food? What kind of Jamaican restaurant can’t make Jerk Chicken. Honestly the best you will ever get. Check them out!!! Delicious. Sandra is so nice and hospitable. My daughter and I go here almost every week. You won’t regret!

The first time I went there I got the shrimp rasta pasta with jerk chicken. Portions were right on point and so were the flavors. Today I brought my daughter there and ordered the exact same thing and it was nothing like the first time. The chicken was BBQ not jerk and they gave us the smaller container with barely any shrimp. I would love to support local business but not when you can't be consistent. I definitely got got for 60.00 dollars today and am annoyed and disappointed.

So good! Our food was excellent and our server was friendly. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's seriously worth checking out!

So this was my first time eating here. I have eaten from Simmer a few times, but they are temporarily closed. I was excited to try IB after seeing the reviews, but after trying it I would say I prefer Simmer. Something about the flavor was missing for us in the curry chicken and goat. We also had the Pepper Steak and I wasn’t thrilled. It’s the first time we ever tried that dish though so I would have to compare it to Simmer’s. Portions are HUGE for the money paid. Make sure you order early because most of the main dishes are sold out by 4 pm. We ordered at 5:30 on a Wednesday and the only dishes available were Curry Chicken, Curry Goat, and Pepper Steak. Owner/worker was very friendly. I would give 3.5 stars if Google allowed…
